Open Wall Studio
Open Wall Studio is a London design studio publishing contemporary abstract prints in small, considered collections. Each collection is developed in-house — some works begin by hand in ink, paint and sprayed colour, others are built digitally — and every piece is prepared specifically for print.

The studio
The studio works between the gallery and the design house. Its in-house work comes from a fine-art training and a background in exhibition-making and gallery production. Collections are developed slowly and presented as coherent groups, with attention to how works sit together and in the rooms they will live in.

Collaborations
Alongside its in-house collections, the studio will introduce collaborations with invited artists and designers over time. Each collaboration is credited, with its own artist page.

The work
Abstract, with an emphasis on form, surface and restraint. Each collection follows its own approach — gestural and layered in Broken Beats, architectural in Constructed Fields, minimal and graphic in Studies in Ink.

Prints & production
Every print is made to order on Hahnemühle German Etching, a 310gsm textured fine-art paper, with archival pigment inks, and prepared specifically for its size. Unframed prints are produced close to their destination — in the UK, EU, US or Australia.

Framing
Framed prints are hand-finished in the UK in a solid wood box frame (Black, White or Natural wood) with protective Perspex glazing, and arrive ready to hang. Framing is currently available for UK delivery only.
